Jax is now 9 weeks old. He is continuing to learn how to play and of course he sleeps a lot. It seems like you can see him grow more every day. At the vet he weighed in at 20 pounds which I am told is exactly where he should be. Crate training is going well and it affords him a place of safety and security.
Jax and his older brother Jeb have begun to bond and they enjoy digging in the doggie sand box together. At this point he recognizes his name and comes when called (most times). I have also introduced the “down” and ” stay”. Of course we do this combined with a lot of fun play and some positive reinforcement (praise and food) . Taking it slow and easy.
Did I mention, I love this puppy.
